Random political update - these are some of the laws that the Ministerial Committee for Legislation will be voting on this Sunday: 1) A law redefining the concept of injured in the line of duty, such that some jackass who got injured drunk-driving home from a club while on vacation will not receive tens of thousands of shekels from the Ministry of Defense for the rest of his life. 2) A law enabling giving special treatment to people who served in the army or national service (which is currently illegal because it excludes Arabs). 3) A law authorizing the creation of concentrated Rav-Kav offices that deal with all the bus companies, such that you dont have to individually go to every stupid bus-company-office when theres something wrong with you card. 4) A law for the rehabilitation, advancement and integration of people with Autism. 5) A law creating a framework for senior citizens to volunteer in national service. 6) A law requiring expiry dates to include the Hebrew date as well as the secular one. 7) A law removing the Presidents ability to pardon terrorists, unless there are specific humanitarian criteria.
