Rant- I heard about this this morning towards the end of my route, and this is scary because of what a witness told the lady that I had dropped off a paper to. It seems that the police have gone down Alhambra Ave and any election signs that were out on the lawn, they took off and placed in the owners yard out of sight. Now Ive yet to talk to the guy and get the full details, but if the police are doing this, it scares the hell out of me what kind of tactics theyre willing to pull when it comes to election time in November. After all last I knew once those signs were up, Theyre considered protected under the 1st Amendment of the US Constitution (not the PATRIOT Act). After all court battles have been fought over this, and the one putting the sign up always wins. So what in the world is going on that the police are removing election signs?
