Rant for the day: I graced the wonderful people at the walker county health dept today. They are always so nice and respectful and they never look down on someone less fortunate.......NOT! I sat in the front waiting area and I observed a little girl and her mother. The little girl was no bigger than 3 or 4 as the little girl and her mother walked away, the receptionist said little girl can you give me back my pen? The mom looked puzzled but she asked her daughter do you have her pen? The little girl said no... The receptionist said she had my pen... The mom then did a pat down only NOT to find a pen... The receptionist said oh I thought she had one of them.......one of THEM! Yes there was a cup full of pens! WHAT THE WORLD!!! Those pens come in a pack of like 10 for a dollar! Really you gonna call pen thieving on a 3 year old????? Ridiculous!!!! Ok I am done! But I just gotta go on one step forward.... The last time I checked, that building is here to serve our county and the employees must be aware of their commitment to the communities and the people they service.... If people dont want to have a servants heart then they need to find new jobs that dont require serving with a smile!
