Rave: Martinez is a great place to ride a bike. There are bike lanes - biking to the train would be a great way to promote green. I watch Santa Monica quite a bit, because they went through a devastating earthquake a few years ago and one of their city planners came into my shop and we had a long chat. He mentioned that they had many of the same challenges we had. I noticed that Santa Monica installed a bike transit Center. To build something like this and offer more bike type trails along the water front might be just what Martinez needs to capitalize on key attractions to its downtown.
