Re-Post from yesterday > A couple Sundays ago a bunch of slouch belly red-neck guys rescued a mama duck and her new babies + three unhatched eggs from a shopping center entrance here. She had nested right in a narrow meridian at the busy entrance and the peeps were wandering all over the road. I helped a little-- by assuring them they COULD pick up the babies without mom rejecting them and scooping a couple and the eggs into a box. They moved them to a wild area behind the shopping center in the box with mom waddling behind. She knew they were helping ! Have checked back and she did not come back to the parking lot. Feels good people!
