I was arrested in December 2013 at Checkers in Cresta mall, Johannesburg, for allegedly stealing headache tablets worth R17.49c. Here is what really happened: A week before my arrest, I went to the same Checkers and buy headache tablets worth R17.49c. I then put them in my handbag and never used them. The following week I went to the very same Checkers with the very same handbag with my unopened tablets. I was arrested on my way out of the shop after paying everything I bought except for the pills inside my handbag which I paid for the week before. There are many ladies out there who keep unopened pad packets and other ladies stuff. I went through a whole lot of humiliation and embarrassment for Panado pills worth R17.49c only. My case is now postponed and Checkers is saying their cameras were not working on the section were the Panados are kept. South Africa I am innocent and burning inside for all this injustice. Already I have spent lot of money defending myself on an R17.49C crime which I didnt commit. I thank you all for your support.
