Readers will know the link between the comet space probe and Worthing! Now that theyve found organics, the building blocks of life, on the comet, it made me think. The universe is made up of billions upon billions of solar systems/stars and planets - a bit like the cells/atoms comprising a human body. Comets, which look like sperm with their fiery tales streaking across the heavens, probably spawned life on Earth - a bit like that single human sperm which fertilises the egg after an incredible journey with only a very tiny chance of collision. Is the universe therefore one giant body, of which the Earth is just a single cell? Anybody else pondered over this? And sorry if too much info before breakfast :)
