Reading games/apps? I have a struggling reader who likes to read but reads slow and this makes it hard to excel in school. She comprehends what she reads so I think between her slowness and her very phonetic spelling that she has some dyslexic issues or processing but either way she is desperate to improve her reading in school so she feels better about herself when compared to her peers. She cries often because she cant complete her work as fast and wants to do well enough to be recognized/rewarded like others around her. I hate that she even has to deal with this and its hard for me to understand because I was reading Dean Koonz and Danielle Steele at her age. Soooo, Im looking for some apps or online programs she can do after school. Shes got time in a computer lab from 2:30 - 5:00 so she has lots of time to try different things and I want a variety. We can throw in some Math too if there are good programs. :) Thank you!
