Really excited to join Anna Burke MP at the Australian Synchrotron to look at the important work they do in medical research. Professors Andrew Peele and Michael James gave a compelling account of this wonderful facility, originally built by the Victorian Labor Party. Thanks to Sarah Bartlett, Ken Griffin, Dr Daniel Hausermann and Dr Tom Caradoc-Davies for their insightful presentations that went a long way to demystifying the Synchrotron for the non-scientists! Australian Labor Party strongly supports medical research. We will continue consulting with stakeholders to ensure their views are heard and their interests are represented in the lead-up to the next election.
