Realty Truck burst into a thick, white, foul-smelling electrical smoke at the corner of Nolensville Rd and Old Hickory Blvd this afternoon. It bellowed out from the engine room and the bridge, nauseating me and many thousand fellow travelers at one of the states busiest intersections during rush hour on Friday. Peggy came to rescue me, thank goodness, as AAA placed my call on a low priority for well over an hour, even though many, if not most, of the cars approaching quickly from the rear were confused by the emergency lights and the raised hood, causing them to be quite aggravated, trying even harder to make us get out of their way.
