Received my number from Sasha N. Middleton. Here are 23 things about me... (in case anyone cares lol). (1.) Married my high school sweetheart and weve been together 16 years in December (keep in mind Im only 30 so thats over half my life)! He is my rock (cheesy but true)! (2.) We adopted all three of our girls from Ukraine (Gabby in 2010 and Ava & Madalie in 2013)! My heros and my inspirations! (3.) God and my family are most important! Nothing comes before or above them! (4.) Life passions-orphans, special needs, adoption, truth and justice, preventing or fighting against any type of cruelty! (5.) Graduated nursing and briefly worked as a nurse before deciding I was better fit as the administrator of mine and my husbands substance abuse and domestic violence center! (6.) Love that I can raise my girls and do most of my work from home! Its a blessing that God has given me and my husband helps make possible! (7.) Recently started a nonprofit organization that helps families fundraise for special needs adoptions! (8.) Insane newly (about a year) obsession with with running! Its a love/hate relationship! (9.) Lost 46 lbs this past year and even though I need to lose more my body says no. Im fine with this though because I know I am healthy and fit now regardless of whether I look like a stick! (10.) Ive always wanted to be a mommy but never wanted to be pregnant! Always knew I was suppose to receive my children through adoption! (11.) I have a bad habit of always taking on more responsibility than I should and not saying No when I should. Need to realize that I cant fix or help everything... (12.) Firm believer of forgiveness but I think its flat out stupid to let yourself forget! (13.) It eats me up inside to not say whats on my mind or give my opinion, this often leads to issues :p but its me! I dont sugar coat! (14.) In reference with number 13 above, Ive also with age learned to have some class and know when to keep silent (even though it still continues to eat me up lol). People who really know me know what my silence means anyway :p (15.) For as long as I live I will be full southern country. Its embedded in me and trust me people, theres a difference between southern country and acting like a redneck! LOL. Although, the two may cross paths from time to time :p (16.) LOVE to travel and use to do this all the time but it has definitely slowed down since the girls came along! Hope to change that as soon as the girls get a little older! (17.) Favorite city is NYC...couldnt live there but it is mesmerizing and inspiring to visit. Favorite over all place to visit is the beach! Hope to visit Jerusalem one day but have to admit that I am terrified to do so! Ukraine was awesome (couldnt live there) but will always have a connection with the place! (20.) Recently began communicating with two of my daughters bio parents/family! They have became like my family but the communication just confirms the connection we have with our kids and that blood is only biology. (21.) Favorite color to look at since I was little is Green (not puke green or mint green) but like a bright, spring fresh, grassy green :). Also recently taken a special liking to Turquoise and similar shades of blue/green. (22.) HGTV extremist! :p (23.) Still struggling with the fact that my house will never be clean again lol! My girls are more than enough to make up for that :)
