Recently I posted information about our SWAT team and I got flack for it from a few who could not understand why we would need a military-type presence in Vero Beach. I am a lover not a fighter, so I took it down. Yesterday we had a situation here which makes me grateful we have qualified law enforcement risking their lives to keep us - and a local elementary school - SAFE. Thanks to ALL in law enforcement, fire rescue and military who put their lives on the line to fight EVIL.
