Recently, a patron at Panera bread had her wallet stolen from her sometime during her visit. The thief then used her debit card on a shopping spree in northern Delaware and quickly drained her bank account. Please always keep your valuables within eyesight and consider carrying your debit cards sparingly. While her bank will most likely compensate her for the fraudulent charges, she still has to deal with the inconvenience of being without the money in the meantime. Credit cards that arent linked to your bank account offer much better protection from fraud.
