Reflections: I was troubled as I exited the plane yesterday at LAX and read about the racial remarks attributed to Donald Sterling, owner of the L.A. Clippers. While I totally get that the allegations need to be investigated, I also get that I will never know the pain that the African American community experiences over and over again. What I do know is that God does not tolerate injustice. He confronted Jonah over his attitude regarding the Ninevites and the prophets disdain for the mercy that God was pouring out for them. And Jesus confronted the religious leaders of his day for their actions of turning the House of Prayer for ALL nations into a marketplace for personal gain. God wants our actions and our attitudes to reflect His. Its not just a behavior issue, but a heart issue. All people were created in His image and made for His glory. God will not tolerate injustice and neither should we. And those that are victims should not have to carry their own cause. Thats our responsibility. (Isaiah 58:6)
