Regarding the cloudy water the last few days: Chris Young and I have been out today testing for proper chlorine levels at about a dozen homes that have had some issues--everything looks good. The water quality leaving the water plant is perfect--all quality and safety procedures are perfect and everything is in order. There has been sporadic increases in flows recently, which can cause some small turbidity pockets --and can move about the distribution system. I have been informed that if you are experiencing cloudy or dirty water, run your hose outside until clear. All water, sewer and village crew staff are aware of these issues and our system is being constantly and continually monitored.
