Reissue week - day 1! So, theres exactly one week to go until the reissues come out (it was going to be today, but we had a tiny delay) so were going to mark each day with a video from the albums. So - its Liquidizer today, and heres Bring It On Down. Originally called Beat It Down, Bring went through numerous reworks and revisions before finally becoming our third single, with a video directed by John Maybury. On the reissue of the album, you finally get a chance to hear the lost version of the track, which was produced by David Motion. It was part of a session which also included a version of All The Answers. After filming the video, we were convinced this might finally be the record to crack the top 40, but it ended up stalling at 42 (again!), AKA The singles graveyard. We were gutted. We kept tuning in to the radio, on Sunday nights, to check if wed made it. We hadnt. Ah well, Real Real Real was just around the corner.....
