Remember Winnie The Pooh, A popular childrens book. Pooh was watching Kanga bound away. ( I wish I can jump like that, he thinks. Some can and some cant. Thats how it is ). Its easy to feel useless when we cant do he things we were once capable of doing. Even though its true we may not be able to jump run walk or do some of the extraordinary things that we use to do. Once we could: now we cant. Thats how it is. But we can love and we can pray. I believe these are the works that time and experience have prepared us to do well. Love is the best gift we have to give to God and to others. It is no small matter, Because love is the reason by which we fulfill our whole duty to God and our neighbor. Though it seems that our love for a person may be a small action, love is the greatest gift of all (1st Cor.13:13). We can also pray. The apostle Paul encouraged the Colossians to continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving (Col.4:2). Because our prayers are a powerful force throughout the universe. Love and prayer are mighty works indeed. They are the mightiest works for any of us, Because our God, who wants to use us , is an all-loving and all-powerful God. He pours His love into our hearts that it might flow out to our neighbors. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing (Psalm.92:14)
