Remember kids, be responsible when feeding the birds! Hang feeders from second story! Take them in at night and keep area clean. This of course will not stop the bear from coming into bear country. They were here first and they like the lay of the land. They are attracted to nectar/,flowers, berries, fruit, rivers, ponds, streams, creeks (with fish!) where many houses in Lake Vallecito (for one) are located. What is important is to stash your trash!!! ;-).
