Remember: when people tell you something’s wrong or doesn’t - TopicsExpress

Remember: when people tell you something’s wrong or doesn’t work for them, they are almost always right. When they tell you exactly what they think is wrong and how to fix it, they are almost always wrong. - Neil Gaiman. The first part is about clarity in your work, and is why you need beta readers, writing groups, and awesome writing instructors like David Farland. The second part (which Dave may actually be the exception to, thus proving the rule) is about refining your voice and bearing the responsibility for choosing writing as a career. thinking good thoughts this week for my peers and good pals Moses, Joshua, Kristin, and Nick (and also Victoria, who isnt at the same workshop, but writing nonetheless) as they make some awesome, amazing books even better. :)
