Reminder to Bands (and artists/theatre/etc.) The OEA (Omaha Entertainment and Arts Awards) NOMINATION PERIOD IS NOW OPEN. Any member of the public has one nomination per category per person. (Basically, each individual can vote for you once.) Mobilize your fan base to nominate your music (or art or theatre, spoken word and comedy) in the OEAs. Deadline for public nomination voting is August 31, 2013. Nominations for the OEAs are decided by these public vote totals. From MarQ Manner : You can now nominate in music, visual arts, performing arts, spoken word and comedy online through August 31st 2013. Encourage others to nominate your work or work of artists that you believe in. All the parameters are listed-bands did not have to perform at the showcase to be eligible to be nominated.
