Remington ride report 5/11/14 Bang and the gun went! It was a slow start though. More like a leisurely Sunday morning stroll. As happens...the lights turned red and the group was split. The front riders, as good riders do, sat up, started talking about the weather, the stock market and their favourite cocktails. Once the following riders, in high speed persuit mode finally caught up, it was like they were a runaway freight train! A new face today The White Knight [rule 5 applies] returned after a long absence from Remington rides. Unfortunately, Thor and Builder Guy (obliged to ride due to posted Remington Bob the Builder picture) had plans to break the ground speed record and smashed to Cootha, leaving Papa Smurf, the Grim Reaper, the Panther, Cannondale Guy and the Young KTM Guy to bring up the tail [multiple rule 5s apply]. The average was a mildly increased 32.8km/hr until the bump, which Rat decided to do hill sprints on. Thor and the Grim Reaper pulled an impressive effort to the top and valuable points for the polkadot jersey. Could it be that Rat has had his day on the podium? Growing turnout and Bean on Dean is very happy with increased coffee sales on Wednesday and Thursday. WHO ARE ALL THESE CRAZY RIDERS WITH WEIRD AND WONDERFUL NAMES? Come do a ride and find out!
