Renfrewshire, Cowal & Bute Area A.G.M Paisley, Eastwood, Inverclyde and Isle of Bute Groups 4th Annual General Meeting Followed by a local walk led by Ross Elder Saturday, 25th January 2014 I cordially invite you to attend the fourth Annual General Meeting of Renfrewshire, Cowal & Bute Area of Ramblers Scotland. It will be held in The Muirend Pavilion, off Muirend Road, Glasgow on Saturday, 25th January 2014 at 9.30am for a 10.00am start. Refreshments will be available at 9.30am. Muirend Road is located on the boundary between Glasgow and Netherlee, East Renfrewshire. If you are travelling by car and have satellite navigation the postcode for the location is G44 3HQ. If you do not have SatNav then, from the M77, exit on Junction 2 to the B762. Travel its full length going east to arrive at a T junction.Turn right on to the B767 (Clarkston Road). Head south and, at the next set of traffic lights, turn right into Muirend Road. After a light controlled pedestrian crossing turn left and enter a short access road to the car park for the pavilion. The nearest railway station is Muirend which is served by trains to Neilston. After exiting on to Muirend Road turn right, walk down to the light controlled pedestrian crossing, Cross it and you will see the pavilion and its car park beyond an access road. Glasgow First bus services 4 (to Newton Mearns), 4A (to Eaglesham) and 6 (to Calderwood, East Kilbride) can be boarded in Union Street on the opposite side from the exit from Central Station. Those services go past Muirend Road. Ask the driver to call out when the bus reaches it (probably best if you sit downstairs if the bus is double decker). Upon alighting, cross the road at the traffic lights to enter and walk along Muirend Road. Cross it at the light controlled pedestrian crossing and you will see the pavilion and its car park beyond an access road. Attendees are invited to print their names and group names on adhesive labels upon arrival and signing in.
