Request be informed that on January 25, 2015 at about 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon, PNP elements of Piñan Municipal Police Station led by PI RICHEEN MATES LAGNAYO-OIC provided security coverage and other preventive measures during the Barangay Fiesta celebration of Poblacion South, Piñan, Zamboanga del Norte, in honor of the Patron Saint Senior Santo Niño. The activity was started with a parade with street dancing competition from the premises of the Parish Church passing the main thoroughfares of Poblacion North and South, Piñan towards Piñan Central Elementary School where the showdown presentation of respective contingents was conducted. Likewise, BPATs of Poblacion South were also mobilized in the maintenance of peace and order during the whole duration of activity. Activity ended at about 5:30 o’clock in the afternoon of same date with successful result.
