Respect for a 12 year old kid, who dont beg but sold tea and earn himself for his SCHOOL FEES....... For the privileged kind, for you and I, an evening at the movies, some popcorn and a dinner at a modest restaurant costs upwards of five hundred bucks per person. But for the unprivileged, five hundred bucks is three months of their school fees, or 20 kilo of rice and wheat that can support them for a fortnight. And despite knowing that, are we grateful enough? Do we respect money as well as we should? Do we control our spending so that we only spend on things we need the most? This kid is 12-years-old. He could be roaming around on a Sunday, wasting his time. He could be begging, like hundreds of thousands of other kids. He could not go to school, and use the 100 bucks he earns every week by selling tea for his enjoyment and a tasty meal. But he has chosen the hard way, the road less taken. He is earning so that he can be self-supportive and pay for his own school fees, not becoming a burden on his family. To say that he is an inspiration for all of us is an understatement. Way to go kid, may you get all the happiness in the world.
