Rest Days! What a confusing topic. If you do research, you can pretty much find studies to back up any position you choose to take. What are your thoughts?? Whats your strategy?? I generally follow the calendar of the exercise program I am using. I figure theyre designed that way with careful intent. But with T25 we get TWO rest days. Nice if you need the weekend off, and a great stretch is provided for those days. Also nice if you cant fit a double workout in on Friday. In my case, I like to use one of those rest days to do an alternate workout from an old favourite program. The actual rest day? Its not lie around and eat Cheezies day. I still focus on getting in my steps, and having an active rest day. A walk, a stretch, anything not so high impact. I figure not only do my muscles need that rest and recovery, my brain does, too! :) #restdays #whendoyourest
