Result of the Committee of Adjustment meeting regarding my neighbours requested variances to build a garage ....to paraphrase the committee: Hey neighbour, you are being a jerk and because you are being so arrogant about it were not going to make this easy for you...A compromise was passed that he can build 4 feet off of our property line with the variances requested. However as I suspected would happen the neighbour took me aside right after the hearing to inform me that if he builds a 20 x 20 structure he can do whatever he wants and is within his right to build 2 feet off of the property line(which unfortunately happens to be true). He seems that much more intent on screwing me because I voiced my concerns at this hearing and since there was mention that the location of the A/C unit on the side of my house did not meet bylaws (like that when I bought the home and the same location as the AC unit in the house next to me), he will be lodging a complaint and too bad it will cost me so much money. Nice.
