Results from this Weekend. A very Busy weekend with 5 teams out. U14 Bansha Celtic 1 v 3 St Kevins Goal. Stephen Moloney. The lads took on top of the Premier Div team St Kevins and put in a good display and never let St Kevins settle. This performance will give them confidence for the rest of the Champioship Division campaign. U12b League -- Cashel Town 2 v 1 Bansha Celtic Goal: Eoin Halpin We may have had players missing but that was no excuse for what was on the whole a poor performance. The players will have to work hard in training to get sharper and fitter to try and get back to their best. U10B League -- Bansha Celtic 5 v 1 Burncourt Celtic Goals: Jack Crowe 2, Conal Grogan, David Ronan and Danial ODwyer. The score line may suggest an easy win but the team were not firing on all cylinders and had to do more defending than they have been used to this season. The passes were not finding their targets, so again hard work needed in training to sort out a few things, U10C League -- Peake Villa C 0 v 5 Bansha Celtic B Goals: Lee Hayes 2, Jason Morey, Aron Colohan and Ciaran Byrne. Great performance from our 2nd team. They are improving with each game. They defended well and tried to pass the ball. The 3rd goal was a great passing move from back to front. U9 Friendly Blitz -- Kilsheelan Utd v Bansha Celtic Great fun and no shortage of skill on show from the young players of both teams. Well done to all involved including our manager Gerard ODwyer who is doing great work with the younger players at the club. A big thank you to Kilsheelan Utd for the great hospitality shown to the lads.
