Richard; Julian; Norml NZ; Wellington NORML; A week ago, I was hoping that cannabis might still develop as an election issue, and to some extent it is (though now inevitably overshadowed by the Whale Oil scandal). Any way, I will be going to my second election meeting tomorrow night, in Ohariu, and all the remaining Ohariu election meetings. On Friday, in St Annes, Northland, our placard was right in front of the 8 candidates for the whole two hours, and the first question of the night was from Richard Goode on cannabis. This shows what can be done if people just commit themselves to doing some work instead of wasting time on FB chatter and abuse. Sadly, outside Wellington/Hutt it looks like very little will be done at election meetings. I would love to be proved wrong... but the level of incompetence among CLR supporters is fairly staggering. So, not expecting much! ( Big ups to Richard G, Jacob Myhre and a few others who are actually doing stuff here in Wellington.) 20 days to go. Make use of them.
