Riyadh, which the Saudi dynasty has made their capital in Arabia, is where Taif used to be. That place where the Prophet (sallillahu aleyhi wa salaam) was stoned and cast out by pagans, the last of the Arabs to enter into Islam, and the first to apostate after his death. It is from that region that Musailima the Liar (from the Banu Hanifa tribe, which the Saud family descends from) claimed prophesy, the place where the battle of Yamamma occurred in which thousands of disciples were killed. It is the southernmost region of Najd, an area which the Prophet (s) refused to pray for, and said that the horn of Satan rises in that land. It has never produced a Mujadid, nor any significant scholar for this ummah. If you cannot deduce that there is something deeply sinister, something deeply disturbing, about this area now being made the capital of Arabia by descendants of a false prophet, while the Haramayn (two holy sanctuaries) are in this same land, then you have no spiritual insight whatsoever.
