Rob Fishman developed a love and respect for the world of glass - TopicsExpress

Rob Fishman developed a love and respect for the world of glass art and the complex process of sculpting hand blown glass through his sister, Beth Fishman, an accomplished master glass artist in Seattle, WA. With a need to create the Avon Pavilion piece locally, we turned to Paul Elyseev, Owner of Hot Sands Glass Studio in Asbury Park, NJ, the first public glass blowing studio in NJ. Paul took our vision of seeking “a vibrant, striking, sea glass look to reflect the energy of the new Avon Pavilion” and designed this intricate, magnificent glass wall sculpture!! Knowing our Superstorm Sandy story, and almost losing his entire shop to Sandy as well, Paul and his team became personally vested in our project. Their creativity AND their hearts shine through this sculpture Rob was even allowed to assist Paul at the 2,000 degree furnace … if only once! (See Video Attached) hotsandap
