Rob the Mob Millennium Pictures’ newest indie drama, which is presently receiving a very limited theatrical release. This low-budget flick features an ensemble cast that is not exactly star-studded, but IS tremendously talented and completely capable in their own right. The well-traveled troupe includes the aforementioned Romano, a bearded Andy Garcia (who plays the Aroncini-loving crime boss of the Bonnano Family, Alphonse “Big Al” Fiorello), Griffin Dunne (as the couple’s rhyme-spitting, happy-go-lucky boss), Michael Rispoli (as Big Al’s right-hand man), Burt Young (as an aging gangster from Big Al’s crew), Frank “Look at the big brain on Brad” Whaley (as Cardozo’s aforementioned helpful source at the FBI), Yul Vazquez, Cathy Moriarty, Aida Turturro and a slew of other actors that you’d undoubtedly recognize from Martin Scorsese films and/or various episodes of The Sopranos.
