Roberta Parsons Broussard 2 hours agoRoberta Parsons Broussard I am a 45 year old mom with a son with Aspergers and I was just recently was diagnosed with social pragmatic disorder, AD/HD, anxiety, and sensory processing disorder. I was told I would have been diagnosed Aspergers had it still existed. The tester said they didnt they I was autistic but did think I had Aspergers. I wanted to know if there are any other women out there that have sought a late diagnosis due to seeing their child diagnosed and experienced a similar situation. The particularly odd thing is I have learned to cope with pragmatic language difficulties and have overcome most of those problems. It is coping with anxiety and changes in my routine as well as dealing with sensory issues that cause me problems. Oh and of course this diagnosis leaves off the fact that I have obsessive special interests that help me cope with anxiety and make me happy. Please share so that I know Im not alone.
