Robin Williams death has brought depression back into the - TopicsExpress

Robin Williams death has brought depression back into the forefront. Not that long ago suffering from depression was seen as a weakness so many sufferers kept it to themselves and didnt seek help for fear of ridicule or victimisation. Today thankfully society is a lot more aware and its now OK to talk about it and seek a helping hand. Help doesnt have to be a highly paid psychiatrist, it can be as little a gesture as asking a mate if he is OK or just sitting and listening to a friend vent his worries and frustrations over a beer or two. I had a relative commit suicide during a bout of depression and I was the last person she spoke to which will stay with me forever. It will always haunt me that MAYBE, I could have done more to help her. If you know somebody whos not coping too well, offer up a helping hand.mantherapy.org.au/?gclid=Cj0KEQjw06GfBRCR9tDI4t6n5_MBEiQAFo6kuOMkMGEa_JQnWr5sB682qjjJoFMAjAxZSUFqfy_CW-UaAjkC8P8HAQ
