Robocop is ok. Not bad. Not great. There are a few nice additions like Gary Oldmans character and jackie Earle Haleys character. The new suit looks good. But there are a lot of unnecessary changes. I cant figure out why they changed officer Lewis from a strong woman to a very stereotypical black guy. The human hand looks weird when the rest of Robos body is covered in awesome black armor. The family parts feel extremely forced. Youre given no reason to care about the wife and child other than theyre Robos wife and kid. To go out on a semi-positive note, the action sequences are the best parts. But theyre nothing you havent seen in an Iron Man movie. Update: I forgot they have a modern version of the classic Robocop song. Its not great.
