Rockbridge County High School golfer Peter Shaner advanced to the 3A State Tournament by placing among the top six at-large individuals at the Region 3A West Tournament on Tuesday at Botetourt Golf and Swim Club. The senior shot a 75 to lead the Wildcats to a fifth-place team finish. This will be Shaner’s third consecutive year at the state tournament.
