I am sure this news got to the Notice of the Honble Chief Minister KCR garu and he will act on it IMMEDIATELY and direct investigation by a top end police team, monitored by the State Government, with the investigation being totally scientific, and transparent, so that the public and more so the women in our City and State can feel secure that our State Government will not tolerate these heinous crimes against women, and that it will ensure our City to be SAFE and SECURE for atleast women to live. While this gated community in the heart of the city is largely owned by defence officials, some of the apartments have been leased out to civilians by the owners. According to sources from within the society, the victim was a 17-year-old maid servant who worked in several household. They allege that the girl was gang-raped by five men including the son of a well-connected politician and left the hapless victim to bleed to death. We have heard that the girl was admitted to a city hospital, though we have no further details. She is said to have died due to excessive bleeding, said a resident of the apartment on condition of anonymity. While no police complaint has been registered, which many allege has been purposely hushed up to shield the high-profile family, residents of the area are clearly rattled. In fact, they have even been cautioning one each and every resident to be careful hereafter and thoroughly check the credentials of prospective tenants before renting out flats. We are shocked and dont know how to react. As those involved in this alleged act are powerful people, nobody is willing to speak about it openly, said another resident adding, Initially people said it was the job of a security guard. Only later did we find out that it wasnt the truth. Even now, some people insist that it was a case of attempted rape. The servants working in our households, however, say that the girl was indeed raped and left to die. Though some residents had drafted an e-mail and decided to upload the same on a social platform that has over 200 residents of Jal Vayu Towers as members, they eventually decided against it.
