Rotary Club of Malate Primes pride, charter-president (and later past-district-governor) Atty. The rules of protocol applies that only the duly-inducted club president may give or perform the induction rites in his/her Rotary Club. However, this responsibility or privilege may be waived in favor of any member of the club with a higher stature in the district, in the his case, PDG Tranquil. At a worse scenario, a past-president may equally perform the same induction rites, but only with the permission of the club president, and if s/he cannot perform to do the same. This is very important and considered very sacred in the rules on protocol in Rotary. Due to the solemnity of the occasion, members and guests are requested to do the following during the induction rites: (a) stand-up, stay focused and observe in silence the induction rite(s); (b) refrain from speaking out loud, better yet, silence is golden; (c) refrain from walking around the room or induction venue; (d) only the new members (or officers) being inducting will raise their right hands, and no one else; (e) to avoid confusion during the induction rites, club administration may provide a copy of the Oath Taking Rights during the occasion; and (f) dress code: depends on the announcement of the incumbent club president. In his speech, CP/PDG Tranquil made mention how to enjoy in our Rotary Club, while being a member in the Family of Rotary. He featured our humble beginnings, how he had to run from different classes, clients and other meetings. He made mention how the other past-presidents enjoyed finishing their respective terms, and many others. For the information of all, apart from being the lawyer of then CJ Renato Corona and now the gentleman from District of Saranggani, Hon. Congressman Emmanuel Manny Dapidran Pacquiao, CP/PDG Tranquil is considered one of the best speakers in the Prime District 3810 of the Rotary International.
