Rough ride bringing Dawne back from Midway, how her plane landed right after the storm is still a mystery. I made a bad mistake being late at the airport, not a good move on my part. My apologies to Dawne, Im sorry, we should have avoided what happened next. We ran into the second derecho on 55 just west of Rte. 53 and had to pull over briefly, many were on the side of the road with us. Could not see the road at all. They when we get here we see our neighbor pulling their trampoline out of our trees. Have to assess the situation in the morning. Scary weather. Rain horizontally at 60 mph not my idea of a good time. Glad to have Dawne back home.
