Round 3 highlights: Plenty more batsmen cashed in with hundreds, the top scorer of the round being Jai Schmidt from South Barwon Cricket Club with 145, helping the 4ths to a mammoth 6/303 from their 45 overs. Going by the stats off MyCricket - this is Jais highest score by a long way. Special mention with the ball goes to North Geelong Cricket Clubs Mathew Jones who took a PB 7/14. Other centurions included Shayne Lymer, Damian Vassiliou, Paul Price, Leigh Kentsh, Daniel Lawrence, Mark Hanley, Damian Koliba, Campbell Bishop, while Shane Stone rounded out the top 10 scorers for the GCA* with 103. For the higher grades, 2 day cricket gets under way this weekend, so the focus on training is sure to be on batting out the overs. Before we get there, the GCA T20 comp kicks off tomorrow night with games commencing @ 5 OClock.
