Rt. Hon. Pastor Essien Ekpenyong Ayi should honourably clear the stage for other players. He has done his best. But times have changed. He doesnt fit the picture anymore. This is not the era we carelessed whether a public office holder is representing well or not, all that we knew was as far as he/she is in town and buys us few bottles of beer and we drink to stupor then he/she is good to go for another term. This our representative have been doing and if you step into his compound now, he is still with the boys and the men...drinking their brains out. We enjoyed the merriment until Bakasi peninsula was taken from us. Still in the yard of Nigerian breweries we heard our 76 oil well have been taken...ha! We carelessed! Afterall, we still have our bottle of bear not until we discovered we couldnt afford the beer anymore. I weep bitterly. Sen. Prince Bassey Otu came and exposed the ingredients of National Assembly to us all....and now everyone wants to do an empowerment program. So if not Prince, I would not have been able to benefit the dividends of democracy and train my child through school a lady lamented. I declare this without fear or favour without being sentimental. ...let Rt. Hon. Essien Ayi clear the way for another so that the world wouldnt have to see him as a Ghadafi of the constituency. We need a representative who will be able to fix things and attract better Federal government projects that of economic benefits to the people. Mbok am tired of drinks!
