SAAP Nation, meet Scooter. Scooter was found outside, with no mother and lying next to a sibling who had already perished. He was pale and clinging to life. A good samaritan got him to Campbell County Animal Shelter where Deborah DeJarnett and the great people there tended to him right away. At just a couple weeks old, that takes a LOT of involvement, and getting him to rescue was his best option. Dawn and Marcia stepped up and brought him to SAAP. Scooters best chance for recovery is with a mama, so Marcia introduced him to our Siamese mama and her litter. As you can see from the pictures, they took him in and made this little orphan part of their family. Mama nurses him and the others play with him and snuggle up to him as if hes always been there. Hes not out of the woods yet, but things are looking up for little Scooter. When you support rescues like SAAP and animal shelters like CCAS, youre fueling a network of partners that give animals like Scooter a fighting chance!
