SAE_KIT Collegiate club, Kanpur in collaboration with SAE_KIIT Collegiate club, Bhubaneswar organized a seminar cum workshop on “Basic systems & advanced technologies of vehicle engineering” on 28th & 29thNovember, 2014 in the premises of Kanpur Institute Of Technology. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Dipam Chatterjee (System Design Engineer at IIT Bhubaneswar”). The workshop was of two days. On day one, some basic concepts related to vehicle engineering like Engine, Transmission, Suspension, Vehicle safety features and modern technologies were covered. Furthermore, topics like Steering, Ignition system, and Brakes were discussed in the first half of day two, followed by a workshop visit to Brindavan Shelters (TATA Motors), Kanpur.
