SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY! Psalm 119:105 New International Version (NIV) 105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. My fellow Christians. It is amazing to think about how powerful Gods words are. To create a message that contains so much meaning with so few words is only something God can do. Today when you find yourself thinking about life, the holidays, family, work, finances, or any other things that may bring you a bit of stress, take a few minutes to turn to God and let him guide you. God will never present us with challenges we cannot handle but that does not mean we will not be presented with obstacles that test our Faith. Do not succumb to the stress of today for tomorrow is a new day and God will be with you through every step. Remember, we must all be pushed from time to time so that we can truly appreciate His Love and Grace. If you feel pushed today I encourage you to run with it and push yourself to the limit so that you can look back and truly understand the value of your accomplishments. I also feel compelled to tell you to please go and love your kids today. There is no doubt that our children also test us from time to time but it is our job to make sure that they always feel protected, loved, and accepted. Kids will make choices, whether it be to try a drink, try a cigarette, skip a class, choose not to do homework, or whatever it may be. Their choices will be influenced by all the negativity in their world and when they fall they will need you to pick them back up the same way we turn to our God when we fall. Do not consider their failures a sign of your own failures but rather a test to improve your relationship with them. God Bless You All.
