SEALED AND BOOK OF LIFE AMMUNITION May this help someone understand the scripture from the KJV about this matter. Now, the word, seal or sealed, only occurs 26 times in the KJV. Here are the passages that are referring to ones soul or destiny of eternity: 1. The verses that people use to justify OSAS theology: a. John 6:27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. b. 2 Corinthians 1:21-22 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. c. Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, d. Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 2. Now most Christians will just use those 4 passages and not look at the other passages in comparing Scripture with Scripture. As a result they make a grave deep error in misunderstanding the scripture. So here is the explanation: a. Esther 8:8 Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the kings name, and seal it with the kings ring: for the writing which is written in the kings name, and sealed with the kings ring, may no man reverse. -Now, who is the king of kings and Lord of lords who steals us? Its none other than Jesus Christ himself: b. 1 Timothy 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; c. Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful. d. Revelation 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. 3. Heres the last part you have to pay great attention to. Only the Holy Spirit will reveal this truth to those who are humbly seeking the words of truth: a. Daniel 9:23-24. God stated this vision was going to be sealed. b. Daniel 12:4, 8 God told Daniel to seal up the book. See verse 9: c. 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. 4. Now what is revelation? I believe its very clear that it is the book of Daniel with the seals broken and opened: Revelation 5:1-9 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. Revelation 5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof? 5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon. 5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon. 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof. 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints. 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; Revelation 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. - if you paid attention to this long passage, the Lamb, the King of kings and Lord of lords, Jesus Christ. Only he himself can break those seals. - The Apostle Paul warns that we were grafted into Israel to be one with them. We should not boast because if we do not abide, we shall be broken off as well. -It is our SEAL that shall be broken. Romans 11:16-23 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 11:17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; 11:18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee. 11:19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in. 11:20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 11:21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 11:22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. Revelation 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. Revelation 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. -In clearly context, its to the children of israel, which we must be grafted into. BOOK OF LIFE Ex. 32:32-33; Deut. 9:14; 29:20 (cross reference with 2 Kings 14:27; Rev. 17:8); Ps. 69:28; Dan. 12:1; Phil. 4:3; Rev. 3:5; 13:8-9; 17:8; 20:12-15; 21:27; 22:19. Now I believe the passages in the Old Testament are referring to the same book. It doesnt make sense for him to have two books of life. In every place its always singular; meaning one BOOK. According to the passage in Malachi, God does not change. Therefore, his book of names does not change. If you accept the passages as they are written, every name from eternity has already been recorded. But God can anytime eliminate that name when he sees in his forknowledge, they will not love him or keep His commandments. He will blot them out. I know the hymn states, theres a new name written down in glory and its mine. Even though the song sounds good, its not Bible accurate. A correct way to say it would be something like, theres a new name blood washed or cleansed or even forgiven in glory and its mine oh yes its mine. It doesnt make sense for him to write the name and then blotted out.
