SEEK HIM FIRST AND LEAVE THE REST IN HIS HANDS March 28, 2014 Matthew 6:33 Key Verse: Matthew 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. When God promises you something, He will move heaven and earth to bring it to pass. He will tear down every contrary circumstance, every wall, every obstacle or opposing force that tries to keep you from receiving His promise. The Old Testament is a divine record of God’s zeal in fulfilling His covenants with His people. The Bible says, “Delight yourself also in the Lord, / And He shall give you the desires of your heart” (Ps. 37:4 nkjv). God will give you your heart’s desires if you will delight yourself in Him first. He will give you whatever you have been wanting that is in line with His will and Word. In fact, He will tell you, “You do not have to pay for it or fight for it; I have already handled it.” I am not telling you this in a theoretical sense; I have experienced this wonder in my own life and ministry. If you are going through what seems like a hopeless battle, I advise you to stop for a moment, be still before God, and find out what is on His heart. Then do it. Everything else will work out. PRAYER Jesus, right now, I choose to be still and behold Your glory. There is no better time than right now to ask You, “Lord, what do You have to say to me? I promise that I will obey and use my eyes of faith.”
