SEQ Catchments is holding a wildlife field day next Thursday 20 June, 9am-1pm, at the magnificent ‘Jingeri’ property in Darlington. Come along to find out the results of winter surveys and discuss with wildlife experts the habitats and species found in the local area. Renowned bird watcher, butterfly enthusiast and botanist, Paul Grimshaw; mammal expert, Melanie Venz; and Eastern Bristlebird and other birds expert, Sheena Gillman, will be on hand to aid with wildlife identification, including tracks, scats and other signs, and discuss threats and habitat management. A representative from the Department of Natural Resources and Mines will also be attending to provide advice on recent changes to the Vegetation Management Act.
