SERENDIPITY I wasn’t looking for it, but I found it. I never expected it, but I got it. I never conceived it, but I received it. It was never an ideal, but it became real. It’s been so clue-damaging. But now, I understand the dynamics. It’s SERENDIPITOUS. Practical folks call it chance, luck, coincidence, accident – guided by the karma dogma. For me, the pleasant events of my life were not random but divinely arranged. Many things are done with ultimate human effort yielding the expected return. Yet, many pleasant experiences of our lives were of no deliberate personal intervention; we were favoured. Seeing the climax of a long walk on eggshell, my head is bowed down in awe and humility. Coming to varsity was basically to become rational, see things from economic lenses - have an e-view (Economic view), build and interpret economic models using econometric tools. Behold! I was busted by the unexpected – Christ found me; the essence of existence was revealed, I caught the ‘vision’ which I became passionate about, creating the mission tilting towards a humble-dogged accomplishment… Want of time would fail me to be categorical, what more can I say about my fire-lightening friends who have been inspiring and comforting. Made me believe how I can survive and thrive in times like these. Five years ago, I knew nothing about National Fellowship of Economics Christian Students (NAFECS) – She awakened the leader in me… I never knew about Policy Analysis and Research Forum (PAREF) – She built my robust mind and speechifying... What about the Watchman Campus Fellowship’s 2014 FYF, they taught me Ephesians 3:20. Put else, “What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” The Bottom-line: There was no prior expectation of these, but they are now real. He’s the God of the unexpected. So, if you are a soldier, keep soldiering on. If you are a runner, keep running till the race is won. Keep believing, keep loving, keep trusting, keep hoping, and keep working. Less I forget – keep on keeping on (I mean the SILENT LABOURS). God will unleash his blessings, which will grow beyond the scope of your imagination. Good Morning. Stay Blessed and not Stressed.
