SERVICE ALERT - SAN DIEGO Despite the fires that are burning in several communities in San Diego County, U.S, Postal Service letter carriers are continuing to deliver mail wherever it is safe to do so as determined by fire authorities. For customers of La Costa Post Office in Carlsbad, San Marcos Post Office, and Escondido Post Office who are not able to access their homes or business due to road closures or fire damage, their mail will be available for pick up with proper photo ID at their respective Post Office. La Costa Post Office – 1700 Aviara Parkway , Carlsbad CA 92011 San Marcos Post Office – 420 North Twin Oaks Valley Road, San Marcos CA 92069 Escondido Post Office – 1157 West Mission Avenue, Escondido CA 92025 Carlsbad La Costa and Camp Pendleton Marine Base offices have resumed regular operations, following a disruption in service resulting from wildfires that moved across northern San Diego County.
