SHADY GROVE CEMETERY MEMORIAL DAY 2013: The annual Memorial Day services for Shady Grove Cemetery will be held tomorrow, Sunday, August 11, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., in the Shady Grove Methodist Church building. Janet Adams will present the music. Janet is a gospel singer from Pittsburg, TX, having auditioned for the music reality show, X Factor, earning a spot in the Top 50 of 3000 contestants. Vickie Snyder will be the guest speaker. The annual business meeting will be held with Larry Finney presiding. Remember to bring food for the potluck lunch to be enjoyed after the program. Due to the excessive heat lately, lunch may be served inside the building. The church has several long tables which can be set up in the aisle for serving…and pews to sit in to enjoy your meal. If you want to bring along a card table, too, that would be great!
