E / B. Tech, Mechanical / Automobile, 3 – 10 years • Chassis structure (Frames, cross members, engine and cab installation)/ Urea System development (Urea tank/ Pump installation/ Connection to EATS system) • Component and system development in coordination with Volvo stakeholders (purchasing, manufacturing, packaging) and external suppliers • Relevant experience in design concepts and production method: casting, sheet metal, plastic _________________________________________ Powertrain Installation Engineer (PD 02) B. E / B. Tech, Mechanical / Automobile, 3 – 7 years • Relevant experience in cooling system design, simulation and testing (Radiator, CAC, Expansion Tank, Fan, Coolant Circuit), Noise Shields Design • Component and system development in coordination with Volvo stakeholders (purchasing, manufacturing, packaging) and external suppliers • Experience in system design and validation _________________________________________ Brakes Engineer (PD 03) B. E / B. Tech, Mechanical, 3 – 7 years • Design of wheel end brakes, brake installation and wheel end packaging. Develop specification for brake system • Design of pneumatic circuit, installation of components, routing design • Design of wheel hub, hub installation, development of specifications for bearings and other hub components • Support to Purchase Department in component development for global requirement _________________________________________ Quality Lead (PD 04) B. E / B. Tech, Mechanical, 6 – 10 years • Expertise in handling / resolving field product quality, field failures, fault tracing of problems in areas of: Chassis Structure, PowerTrain Installation, Braking System, Steering and Vehicle Suspension • Strong knowledge in Risk Analysis, Design Failure Modes and Effect Analysis • Good project management skills experience through exposure to various truck application usage ################################ _________________________________________ Electrical and Electronics _________________________________________ System/ Sr. System Engineer (PD 05) B. E / B. Tech, Electronics / Electrical, 2 – 6 years • Experience in functional or system design development in automotive domain • Knowledge of CAN (e.g J1939) protocol, diagnostics protocols such as 14229. Exposure to CANalyser and CANoe • Proficiency in microcontroller architecture and functioning • Exposure to UML design is preferred _________________________________________ Software/ Sr. Software Engineer (PD 06) B. E / B. Tech, Electronics / Electrical, 2 – 6 years • Experience in embedded software development in automotive domain • Excellent C and Assembly language knowledge along with debugging skills, proficiency in microcontrollers’ architecture and functioning. Knowledge of CAN (e.g J1939) protocol and CANalyser and CANoe • Exposure to UML design is preferred _________________________________________ Validation/ Sr. Validation Engineer (PD 07) B. E / B. Tech, Electronics / Electrical, 2 – 6 years • Competency in validation techniques and processes, Vehicle testing experience • Excellent skills in LabVIEW / TestStand, MATLAB, Simulink, CAPL programming, CAN (e.g. J1939) protocol (preferably in J1587/J1708 and J1939 analysing tools such as CANalyser and CANoe) _________________________________________ Components/ Sr. Components Engineer (PD 08) B. E / B. Tech, Electronics / Electrical/ Instrumentation, 2 – 6 years • Experience in Electrical/ Electronic component specification development, supplier interactions, component validation and understanding of legal or regulatory requirements • Good knowledge on PDM tools, basic project management skills & strong technical background on software development life cycle & hardware technical regulations • Knowledge on automotive regulations for various markets/countries preferred • Good negotiation skills and exposure to quality tools like FMEA, APQP, PPAP would be an added advantage On-Board Telematics _________________________________________ Senior Software Engineer (PD 09) B. E / M. Tech in Electronics/ Electrical Engineering, 4 – 6 years • Excellent programming and debugging skills in C++ and assembly language • Experience in Telematics/ Automotive Domain • Experienced in Model Based Software Development e.g: Rational Rhapsody • Knowledge of CAN (e.g. J1939) protocol, CANalyser and CANoe or Matlab/ Simulink, AUTOSAR _________________________________________ Verification Lead (PD 10) B. E / M.
